Lonzo Ball lived out a dream of his on Thursday night (December 14) when he went head to head with Lebron James for the first time in his NBA career. Unfortunately for the Lakers rookie, he didn't get the best of the player he idolized growing up, but he did get to have a man to man with him after the game. Although, the public may never get to know what was spoken about.

Moments after the 121-112 Cavs victory, James and Ball found one another and exchanged words before heading to the sidelines for interviews. But they were curiously private about the discussion, with James lifting his jersey up to his face to cover his mouth as he spoke, and Ball doing the same when responding.

When he was later asked what was said, James told reporters at the post-game press conference that it was "None of y'all business." And Ball remained mum as well, claiming that James didn't tell him anything when he was asked what the interaction was all about.

A meeting between Lonzo and Lebron had been highly anticipated in the press leading up to the match-up. Much of the hype had to do with Lonzo publicly stating during the preseason that the future Hall-of-Famer was his favorite player. And as Lonzo has improved, there are also those who see him piecing together an all-around game that we've already seen glimpses of with him surpassing Lebron as the youngest to ever score a triple-double.

Lonzo just missed putting his third triple-double in the books with 13 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds on Thursday. While Lonzo came up short, Lebron came up big, by putting up 25 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds to tie Larry Bird for sixth place on the all-time triple-doubles list, with 59.
