Black Thought Drops Dope 10-Minute Freestyle Over Mobb Deep's 'Burn'

Black Thought came through on Funk Flex this week and delivered a 10-minute freestyle that set the hip-hop world ablaze.

The Roots frontman rhymed over Mobb Deep's "Burn" and spit lines like, "Fools swear they wise, wise men know they foolish, but we were heading for the web even before computers, I never thought you'd give me a reason to do this, Cain and Abel, Jesus and Judas, Caesar and Brutus I see intruders avert your eyes, I told you keep outta the hood - circumcised."

Celebrities and hip-hop fans alike sounded off about the freestyle online, including "Hamilton" star Lin Manuel Miranda, who tweeted, "BLACK. THOUGHT. JUST. DROPPED. THE BEST. HIP-HOP. VERSE. OF. 2017. IN. ONE. TAKE.@blackthought WHAT DID YOU DO I'LL BE DISSECTING THIS FOR HOURS."
