It was announced earlier this year after Kobe's retirement that the Lakers would commemorate his distinguished 20-year career with the franchise by raising both his jerseys into the rafters at Staples Center. Kobe will be only the tenth Laker player to have his jersey retired; the ceremony is set to take place on Monday, December 18th.

Nike will be celebrating Kobe's career on the same day with the release of an honorary jersey pack that will be priced at $524.08 each - a play on his five NBA championship and both of his jersey numbers, according to J23 App. The package will come in a soft touch box with a transparent window and magnetic closure and will feature the jerseys with Kob's signature, Black Mamba, Championship stars and will have the date of the ceremony etched into the tag.

Kobe leaves the NBA as one of the greatest players in the history of the game. According to his stats on NBA.com, he is currently the Lakers all-time leader with 1,346 games played in the regular season amassing 33,643 points, 1,827 three-pointers scored, 8,378 free throws made, and 1,944 steals.
