Troy Ave has been fairly quiet in the last few months since the death of his bodyguard and friend Ronald McPhatter at Irving Plaza in May 2017. Now, the rapper has re-surfaced, teasing fans with a new visual that may release in 2018.
Via Instagram, Troy Ave posted a clip of a new video for the track “How It Go” from his NuPac project he released earlier this year. The caption on the post says “HOW IT GO, Coming To A Theater Near You.”
The clip from the visual finds the rapper taking on the plot of Jordan Peele’s Get Out, and features moments that mirror key points in the film.
