LaVar Ball caused some controversy when he pulled his 16-year-old son LaMelo Ball from Chino Hills High School and pulled his 19-year-old son LiAngelo Ball from UCLA. It was previously reported that they were turned down by European teams and the coach from Lietkabelis Panevezys in Lithuania had jokes, but as I said, someone would pick them up eventually. It happened quickly and it turns out they ended up in Lithuania anyways, signing with the club, Prienu Vytautas.

TMZ caught up with Toronto Raptors big man, Jonas Valanciunas, who is a native of Lithuania, won the LKL Lithuanian league championship in 2010 and is a three-time Lithuanian Basketball Player of the Year. They asked his opinion on the Ball brothers playing in his country, and Valanciunas championed the move.

"They're going to be a great fit in Lithuania," Valanciuanas says. "Lithuania is a perfect country for those guys." Valaciuanas says he'll make sure the boys stay out of trouble and is ready and willing to help them with whatever they need, even food. As for their safety?" They will be great. Super safe country, super safe," Valanciuanas said.

The Ball brothers playing overseas gives them the chance to bypass the NCAA, being able to make money while developing for their potential NBA career. LaVar's goal is to have all three of his sons playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Right now he has one down with Lonzo Ball.
