Pro-Era representative and budding rap star Captial STEEZ tragically took his own life in December of 2012. Since then his Pro-Era comrades, most notably Joey Bada$$ have kept his name alive through music and organizing the now annual "STEEZ Day." Joey has also been discussing STEEZ's posthumous album lately and the initial release date was slated to be December 23rd, just a day before the five-year anniversary of his death.

However, Joey took to Instagram to let fans know that the STEEZ album entitled King Capital, would be delayed due to business/legal issues. Joey reassured fans that despite the hiccups in releasing the project, the fans will find that the project was well worth the wait.
