In 2015, Ty Dolla Sign and YG were accused of beating up an Australian footballer while in a VIP room for a club appearance. The issue reportedly took place after the rappers’ team tried to get everyone to leave the VIP section so they could chill. The Australian footballer, Nelly Yoa, allegedly did not want to leave which resulted in him getting beat down.

Because of that, Nelly Yoa said the alleged altercation caused him a lucrative soccer deal. The issue did not make it to court though, as reports surfaced saying YG and Ty Dolla Sign shelled out at least $100,000 to Yoa as a form of settlement.

TMZ noted the Footballer reached out to YG and Ty Dolla Sign and let them know a lawsuit was on the way. Despite the warning, no lawsuit hit the two artists.
