During their match against the Rams, quarterback Carson Wentz attempted to run into the end zone but was caught up by two low hits from both sides. The shit looked pretty brutal, but Wentz remained in the game. While the player was able to walk to the locker room on his own, the locker room report did not go as well.
According to the NFL Network, the early tests on Wentz revealed that the ACL tear was not a complete one. Although it was only a partial tear, this is enough to end the player’s season. Quarterback Nick Foles will fill in for Wentz for the remainder of the season.
