Comedian Hannibal Buress was arrested for disorderly intoxication in Miami on Sunday (December 10) morning in the area where Art Basel-related events are being held.

Video footage caught by a bystander shows Buress asking police why he was being arrested. One of the officers told him he was “trespassing” and later told Buress, “disorderly intoxication.”

The comedian later told the two officers, “No, I'm not getting in your car unless you have probable cause for anything. ... Take the handcuffs off of me, I didn’t do anything, I’m not getting in your car.”

After a heated back and forth, one of the officers forcibly pushed Buress in the back of his squad car.

He was released on bail around 6 am on Sunday morning.
