The bantamweight matchup at UFC Fight Night 123 in Fresno, CA featuring Marlon Moraes and Aljamain Sterling was anticipated to be a competitive bout. However, the fight ended only after 67 seconds when Moraes connected with a vicious knee to the jaw of Sterling. Moraes was on Sterling early connecting with a couple heavy hits forcing Sterling against the gate. After a take-down by Sterling and almost getting caught in an armbar, Moraes connected with a knee to Sterling's chin instantly knocking him out.
