During an interview with ABC World News Tonight's David Muir, Judge Roy Moore sexual assault accuser Beverly Young Nelson doubled down on her claims that he forced himself upon her when she was 16-years-old.

Supporters of the embattled Alabama Senatorial candidate have been rejoicing over Nelson's confession that she added the place and date to a cryptic note a 30-something-year-old Moore wrote in her high school yearbook - around the time he is alleged to have attempted the sexual assault. But although she admits to doctoring the yearbook page in order to time stamp it, she maintains that it was a message from Moore, and continues to stand on her allegations against him.

“To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say Merry Christmas. Christmas 1977. Love, Roy Moore,” the note reads. It is then followed by the words, “12-22-77 Olde Hickory House,” which Nelson now says that she would later include.

During her sit down with ABC, Nelson told of how he roughed her up while giving her a ride home from her job one night. According to Nelson, Moore locked the doors in the vehicle so that she could not escape, then proceeded to grab her by the back of the neck and force her head down towards his crotch. Nelson says that Moore eventually gave up his efforts, but warned her against telling anybody about what he did. “You are a child. I am the District Attorney of Etowah County. If you tell anyone about this, no one will believe you,” she says Moore told her.
