According to reports, LaVar Ball removed his son LiAngelo Ball from UCLA.

Previously, LiAngelo Ball was suspended indefinitely from the school’s basketball team after he and two of his basketball teammates were held in China after being caught stealing from a Louis Vuitton store. Initially, Ball and his teammates were in China for an exhibition game, which they ended up not playing in.

While in China, Ball and his teams were put under house arrest until Donald Trump spoke up for the young men. After that, they were able to come back to the states. Since then, UCLA suspended Ball indefinitely for his actions. However, LaVar Ball feels the suspension was unfair to his son, mainly because the charges were dropped. According to sources in the Ball camp, LaVar feels “there’s no need to break down a kid’s spirit for making a mistake.”

Sources noted that although LiAngelo is not officially withdrawn from UCLA, he is at home and will not be returning to the school.
