The notorious MMA may end up being an accurate moniker for UFC champion Conor McGregor. It seems Conor McGregor got tired of fighting UFC and boxing opponents, so he took his talents down to a local bar where he was involved in an altercation. Police claim that eyewitness reports place McGregor in the middle of a fight at The Black Forge, a pub in Dublin, Ireland. Apparently, the man McGregor punched is affiliated with the Irish mob, although it is unclear how the dispute began.

"There is no report on this matter and no complaint from any injured parties, patrons of the pub or the pub itself and no statements were taken," a source told The Irish Independent.

This makes sense considering it would be unlikely for any criminal organization to call the police and report a crime. The Independent noted that McGregor “attempted to assault another young man in the pub” and ended up punching a man believed to be Graham Whelan’s father twice in the face. Graham “The Wig” Whelan, is a mob boss in the Kinahan crime cartel, and in regards to potential retaliation, McGregor had this to say: “Come and get me.”
