Tory Lanez has gained notoriety as a singer with songs like "Say It" and "Luv." and has also done some great hooks for the likes of Meek Mill and YG. Today, the young crooner proved that he could rap with the best of them while appearing on Funkmaster Flex's freestyle series.
Tory spit for eight minutes in a freestyle over the classic "Oochie Wally" instrumental. He boasted about his rap skills, his ability to bag chicks, and even made fun of himself for his depleting hairline.
"I ain't in that lab, writing/Everything is off-top/Word to my bald spot," he spits.
He rounded his freestyle off by shouting out the legendary NYC rap scene and rap's known spitters Cassidy, Jadakiss, and Styles P.
He then called out the younger generation who recently have gone to discredit the OGs of the game. "I'm doing this s**t for all the people who respect the classic New York culture. I'm doing this s**t for all the young ni**as who don't respect this culture because I come, and I respect everything."
Before Flex uploaded the freestyle video, Tory took to Twitter to label himself one today's best rappers. "I'm really TOP 5 In this rap s**t, tired of ni**as thinking it's a game," he wrote.
