It's no secret Migos are the premiere rap group in music. The Atlanta rappers have continued to turn out hits, which makes it hard for many not to applaud the group for their consistency.

Recently, Migos second studio album Culture scored 2018 Grammy nominations for best rap album and best rap performance for the smash hit "Bad and Boujee" featuring Lil Uzi.

Alongside Grammy nods, the Atlanta rap trio can add another achievement to their career after their latest single “Motorsport” has gone gold.

Quvao took to Twitter Tuesday to announce the group pulled off the mega feat in only two weeks since it's release. “M O T O R S P O R T I S N O W G O L D I N O N L Y 2 1/5 Wks,” he tweeted.

Back in October, Migos debut the track while on stage at the Barclays Center. The song, which is the first single for the upcoming Culture 2, made waves for having both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

However, despite being another hit for the group, the song has sparked drama.

The inclusion of hip hop's most prominent female emcees sparked rumors that the pair did not know each other was on the record. Last month, Nicki Minaj shot down those rumors taking to Twitter revealing that Quvao asked if Cardi could hop on the track. "I was on the song w/Quavo. No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said “ok let’s do it”. The end." tweeted Nicki
