After dropping “Bodak Yellow", Cardi B. became one of the biggest rappers in the country and the first woman since Lauryn Hill to secure the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Inevitably, the discussion has turned to the release of Cardi’s debut album and whether or not it will live up to the hype generated by her massive single. Cardi has made it clear that she will not release her album until it is ready despite the massive amount of pressure she is getting from the public.
As she becomes more popular, the need for security becomes more prevalent. During a recent performance where Cardi was on stage, you notice her security guard walk behind her and begin to tug on her skirt.
Cardi then turns around and begins to yell at her security guard. She later clarifies that she loves her team, and the security guard was simply trying to keep her skirt from rising, but she was afraid she might fall while he tugged her skirt.
