Azealia Banks is always vocal with her thoughts, especially when it comes to the latest happenings in music. Now, the artist gave her take on Post Malone’s recent comments about hip hop.

Previously during an interview with a Polish news outlet, Post Malone said: “If you're looking for lyrics, if you're looking to cry, if you're looking to think about life, don't listen to hip-hop.” Malone went on to say “There's great hip-hop songs where they talk about life and they really spit that real s**t, but right now, there's not a lot of people talking about real s**t."

Banks did not take too kindly to the criticize of the culture they participate in and took to IG to voice her opinion. Banks said “Every single time I actually enjoy a white rapper they go and give me one of these man,” in reference to a screenshot she took of Malone’s quote. Banks went on to say “The only white men who are allowed to publicly voice their opinion on hip hop’s cultural matters are Rick Rubin and Eminem. We really don’t need Macklemore or Peter Rosenberg or anyyyyyy of the rest of you to add anything to this conversation. Just spit your rhyme and go! Lol 😂”
