Role-play style end zone celebrations aside, several dozen college football players appeared to reenact some of the violent Black Friday madness going down around the nation when both sidelines cleared during a Baylor vs. TCU brawl at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth on Friday, November 24.

The drama went down in the third quarter when players on the Baylor sideline got riled up over what they felt should have been a late-hit call on TCU defensive tackle Chris Bradley. Bradley went mouthing off back at Baylor players and coaches, and pushing and shoving ensued. Players from both sides then began to descend onto the field and virtual chaos broke loose, with TCU tackle Ross Blacklock and safety Nick Orr being some of the more aggressive parties in the scrum. As a result, every single player in the game was called for personal fouls.

"We've got a bunch of new kids. Sometimes they make mistakes, and we're trying to correct it as best we can," Baylor coach Matt Rhule said while apologizing for his team's part in the brawl, after the game. "I hope you'll see a tremendous evolution ... in terms of penalties and those kinds of things."

TCU coach Gary Patterson was just as apologetic, stating, "We don't do that. We can have a rivalry without acting the way we did. We need to do better," during his post-game interview.
