It's no secret Cardi B is having the best year in music. The former stripper turned rapper has continued to gain a footing in hip-hop. Despite being new to the game, Cardi has seen massive success. Now, the Bronx native rapper can add another accolade to her budding career as with her smash hit "Bodak Yellow" has gone 3x platinum.
Cardi B took to Instagram Friday to thank fans for helping her reach the tremendous achievement. "’Im so thankful. This song change my life and help me change a lot of people around me life’s.Thank you all for your support" captioned the post of Cardi's newest plaque.
Back in September, Cardi became the first female emcee in nearly two decades to reach atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. While she has faced residual hate for her meteoric rise, Cardi has gained the cosign of significant players in music, including Nicki Minaj and J.Cole.
As for her next move, Cardi seems to be gearing up to continue the momentum of this year into 2018. Over the year, she has been dropping snippets of new music. Recently, she was featured alongside Nicki Minaj on the Migos "MotorSport" track.
However, it appears we won't have to wait long for new music as Cardi revealed a new track is on the way. "Next single comes out early December," Cardi added.
