A long-time pen pal of Charles Manson has come forward with a document that he is presenting as a will of inheritance that he claims to have received from the deceased killer-cult leader.

The latest reports covering Manson since his death last weekend tell of efforts on the part of his grandson to raise money for his burial. But according to the document in question, the infamous psychopath put it in writing that his body ought to be turned over to his anonymous pen pal of 20 years. By law, if Manson's body isn't claimed within 10-days of his death, California State Prison will cremate him.

Along with Manson's remains comes his estate, which reportedly consists of the bit of cash he had saved, image rights, and the catalog of material that he created as a songwriter. While such items would typically be passed on to family, Manson had reportedly disinherited nearly all of his known friends, family, and peers. Manson was known to have many pen pals though, and the unnamed individual who has produced the alleged will claims to have had a relationship with Manson dating back to 1997.

In 2002, the man finally began to visit Manson in Corcoran. The man claims that Manson handed him the will during a visit that took place in the latter part of that year. The witness signature on the document is said to have been jotted by one of Manson's fellow inmates.
