Kim Kardashian seems to be using her resources for a noble cause. According to reports, Kim K will be enlisting the services of her lawyer, Shawn Holley, to help with the clemency campaigns for Cyntoia Brown and Alice Johnson. Both cases went viral with Brown's being the most recent. Holley spoke with reporters stating, "Kim asked me several weeks ago how she could help Alice Johnson in her fight for justice. We then began corresponding with Alice and her team of lawyers, [...] Since then, Kim has championed the cause of Cyntoia Brown and asked me to help her get involved in that effort as well."

Cyntoia Brown's story went viral this past week with high-profile celebrities tweeting out about the injustice. Brown, 29, is serving a life sentence for killing a 43-year-old man when she was just 16 for being sexually abused. Brown was sex-trafficked by a pimp named Kut Throat at an early age which led to her being bought by the man she would eventually kill. As it stands today, Brown won't be eligible for parole until she is 69-years-old.

Shawn Holley is an accomplished attorney having worked on high-profile cases in the past for clients such as Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Lindsay Lohan, Katt Williams, and Nicole Ritchie. Holley was also a part of the "Dream Team" which was O.J. Simpson's legal team that won the acquittal in his infamous murder trial.
