CNN anchor Chris Cuomo recently addressed his interview with LaVar Ball during a stop by Late Night with Seth Meyers, and he couldn't stop laughing about how the now-viral video went down.
Cuomo explained that he thought he was going to talk to LaVar about his accusations of President Trump's lack of involvement in getting his son out of China. Throughout the interview, Cuomo said that he kept asking himself, “Why am I watching this? What is happening?”
The CNN anchor also said that he was surprised that President Trump took LaVar's bait in the interview. He added, “I didn’t even take the bait! And that’s my job- it’s to take the bait!”
