The mayor of Philadelphia had some pretty harsh words for President Trump, during a speech he delivered in Philly's City Hall chambers on Wednesday, November 22.

While taking aim at the administration for the decision to strip Temporary Protective Status from foreigners who've migrated to the U.S. in search of refuge from war and disaster, Kenney questioned whether the President has a heart, and even went so far as to knock his upbringing. Kenney wasn't exactly lenient with his choice of language either, with reporters who looked on getting to witness the mayor do some name-calling in the process.

"There is no compassion whatsoever in the White House. I'm just beside myself with sadness because our president is a bully, our president is a punk, and he just doesn't get it," said Kenney. "I don't know where he was raised, but his family didn't do a good job raising that guy."

At the root of Kenney's gripe is Trump's repeal of a policy that has allowed 435,000 people from nine countries to reside in the U.S. at one point or another, since 1990. Among those who've come to the states seeking Temporary Protective Status have been people from Honduras, Nicaragua, Sudan, and Haiti. With the announcement of the repeal, nearly 60,000 Haitians learned that they have until 2019 to either establish documentation or return to their homeland.
