During last year's NBA Playoffs, then-Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas carried the burden of being the team's source of offense and more unfortunate, dealing with the tragic death of his younger sister Chyna who died in a car crash last April. At one point during the mourning process, Thomas considered sitting out for the postseason stating, "The pain I am feeling right now is impossible to put into words."

As a way to commemorate his sister, Thomas gifted his father with a chain containing a photo of Chyna on the pendant during a segment of Thomas's documentary on the Players' Tribune entitled, Book of Isaiah II. Thomas details the feeling of handing over the box to his father and viewers can see the emotional reaction the elder Thomas has to the gift.

IT said of giving his dad the chain, "I wanted to give something to my dad for the passing of my little sister," Thomas said, "so my little sister could always be with him. I got one of the best pictures of my little sister and thought of the idea of a chain."

Check out the moment IT has with his father in the clip above.
