President Trump broke from his persistent defense of alleged sexual assaulter, and Republican candidate for senator in Alabama, Roy Moore, to express his favor for women coming out and speaking up against their experiences with who've violated them, on Tuesday, November 21.

During a press conference held outside of the White House as he readied to head out for Mar-a-Lago with First Lady Melania and their son Baron, Trump was hit with an onslaught of questions on his refusal to condemn Moore over charges that he molested a 14-year-old girl and sexually assaulted at least one other teen some four decades ago. The President would only say that Moore vehemently denies the charges, and thus deserves the benefit of the doubt. He would be blasted in the media for also taking the opportunity during the presser to insist that Alabama simply cannot vote in Moore's Democratic opponent based on his liberal record - in spite of the allegations Moore has been facing.

When one reporter asked President Trump whether he had a statement for women, in these current times, his tone changed. "Women are very special. I think its a very special time because a lot of things are coming out, and I think that's good for our society. And I think its very, very good for women. And I'm happy a lot of these things are coming out, and I'm very happy it's being exposed," he said.

The President's response was unexpected, considering he has professed himself to be the victim of baseless sexual misconduct claims in the past.
