Marshawn Lynch is cool with Mexicans, and apparently, Mexicans have grown to love Marshawn Lynch.

Much has been made about Lynch's decision to stand for Mexico's national anthem after sitting through the U.S. national anthem, prior to the Raiders game against the Patriots in Mexico City on Sunday, November 19. While the narrative has leaned heavily on criticism over his feelings concerning the socio-political climate in the United States right now, the media has failed to explore how much his feelings towards Mexico may have factored into him standing for their anthem.

A recording that was taken after the game shows a reporter by the name of Francisco Alanis following Lynch across the Estadio Azteca field so that he may gift him with a jersey from the Mexican national futbol team. According to reports, the jersey was actually meant for Tom Brady, as a token of the nation's apology for the scandal involving the theft of his Super Bowl jersey by a Mexican reporter earlier this year. However, Brady allegedly ignored Alanis, thus prompting him to offer it over to Lynch instead. And Lynch was honored.

"I f**k with my 'migos. I f**k with my Mex, man. You know what I'm talking about?" Lynch said gleefully, before going on a tangent about his relationship with Mexican American locals in The Bay.

"Aye, we got hella Mex out in the town bro. They be sliding and hella s**t. It's a lot of them in the Dubs. They all through the East though, you feel me? I be going to go f**k with them and hella s**t. They be kicking it with me though," he said.

As Lynch drifted off into the tunnel at the interview's completion, the reporter turns to the camera in the recording, and with a smile simply says, "nice dude."
