Former NFL star and avid Trump supporter Herschel Walker says Marshawn Lynch crossed the line when he stood for Mexico's national anthem after sitting through the U.S. national anthem, before the Raiders game against the Patriots in Mexico City over the weekend. When asked by TMZ if he had any thoughts on the controversy, the two-time Pro Bowl running back scolded Lynch as someone who he once liked, but can no longer get down with based on the contradiction.

"Marshawn, I was always a fan. But I'll tell you what, I've lost respect. I lost respect because, you know, whether you disagree with Donald or agree with Donald Trump; to stand for the Mexico anthem and sit for American anthem is total disrespect," Walker told the celebrity news outlet on Tuesday morning, November 21. Walker added that while he doesn't necessarily feel Lynch should be banished from the NFL, he does believe that it is time for commissioner Roger Goodell to "take control of what's going on."

Walker also sided with Trump on the question of LaVar Ball and whether or not he should have thanked the President for involving himself in LiAngelo's legal dilemma in China. To his determination, LaVar ought to swallow his pride and humble himself before the President with an apology.
