Since Donald Trump became president of the United States, there have been some supporters who have voiced regret in their decision to vote for him. Joining the ranks of those who are displeased with Trump's antics is the wife of Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio.

Linda Del Rio tweeted to Trump after he called for the NFL to suspend Raiders' Marshawn Lynch because he protested the U.S. national anthem during their game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City. The Raiders lost the game 33-8, but Lynch's gesture has overshadowed the defeat.

"President Trump I voted for you, which I now regret," Del Rio tweeted. "Football is a powerful platform -here's the charitable work we did in Mexico City #NFLproud."

Del Rio also attached pictures of the work the Jack Del Rio Foundation did with a local non-profit, Mano Amiga, while in Mexico. The Raiders hosted a free youth football clinic for the local students, and the team, the foundation, and the league contributed $10,000 each.

The wife of the NFL team owner expressed her displeasure after the president critiqued Marshawn Lynch for standing for the Mexican national anthem and not for the United States'. She continued, "Take more time being president of the United States and less time trying to shame."

Del Rio's twitter was made private soon after her sentiments were expressed.
