On Friday night it was announced that Rae Sremmurd's sophomore album, Sremmlife 2, officially went platinum selling over a million units since its August release. Mike Will Made It broke the news on Instagram captioning the screenshot of the RIAA certificate:

Slim Jxmmi followed up on IG with a post of his own thanking fans for the love and support, “Thank you all for the support Sremm2 Platinum #EarDrummers.” Sremmlife 2 is the group's second platinum record and they are currently putting together the third installment.
