Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers sent his son Austin Rivers out to slaughter Friday night as the young guard had the task of guarding Lebron James during their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Cavs trailing by eight, James hit Rivers with two crossovers sending him sliding and falling back. Rivers then stepped to the side with his hands up as LeBron cut through the defense for an easy layup.

The game eventually went to overtime in the tight matchup with the Cavaliers eventually coming out on top, winning 118-113.

Rivers finished with 16 points and 6 assists, going just 2-of-10 from behind the arc. Blake Griffin was the Clippers leading scorer for the night, putting up 23 points along with 12 rebounds and 5 assists. DeAndre Jordan had a major double-double with 20 points and 22 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to stop the Cavaliers.

LeBron had a game-high 39 points as well as 14 rebounds, and 6 assists. Kevin Love chipped in with 25 points and 8 rebounds, while Dwyane Wade had a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The Cavaliers moved up to a 9-7 record while the Clippers fell to 5-9.
