If one thing is for certain concerning Lonzo Ball it is that he doesn't lack for media attention. Unfortunately for him, his shot hasn't proven to be anywhere near as certain, and so all of that attention he's gotten in the media hasn't been the kind any 2nd overall draft pick would want while trying to leave a good first impression in the league.

The Lakers didn't have a game on Thursday, November 16, yet Ball's name still came up during the commentary of the evening's NBA action between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Midway through the 1st quarter splash brother Klay Thompson put up a three-pointer that got stuck between the rim and the backboard.

NBC Sports commentator Jim Barnett was taken aback by the margin the shot missed by, considering who was putting the ball up. Judging by how bad it was, he said you would've thought the Big Baller Brand baller was the one who let it fly.

"I wouldn't expect this from Klay Thompson at all," Barnett said. "I would expect it from that, uh, young man named Ball who plays for the Lakers. I'm serious. I'm watching the game last night, he had about eight of those." Barnett was referring to Ball's performance vs. the Philadelphia 76'ers; a game during which he made one basket on nine attempts. "Oh my god, they're not even close," said Barnett.
