Hollywood has seen a large amount of sexual harassment and misconduct claims arise in the last few weeks, and now it seems the attention has turned to porn stars like Ron Jeremy. According to Rolling Stone, over a dozen women have accused the porn star of sexual assault. The claims from multiple women span over the course of 30 years.
A 64-year-old actress named Jennifer Steele gave a detailed encounter of what went down when Jeremy allegedly assaulted her. She said Jeremy raped her twice in 1997, at his apartment and a photo shoot. “He just kinda keeps going and pretends like you didn’t say anything,” said Steele.
Another woman named Jay Taylor alleges that Jeremy digitally penetrated her while a convention in 2013 while her boyfriend took a photo of the two.
Jeremy has since responded to the allegations via Rolling Stone, saying he had plans on suing anyone that accused him of rape. Jeremy went on to say “As for the charges of Groping, I say yes, I AM A GROPER. And by groper, I mean I get paid to show up to these shows, events, and photo shoots and touch the people and they touch me.”
He ended his statement by saying “But seriously if you were going to be around Ron Jeremy, wouldn't you assume that I'd be a little bit touchy-feely? Yes. This is what I do for a living. I am not Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, Weinstein or Cosby.”
