Meek Mill’s probation officer told the judge in his recent case that the rapper had previously admitted to using Percocets to treat his depression and stress. NPR reporter Bobby Allyn posted an excerpt from court documents which cited the rapper’s drug use.

“Upon further questioning, the offender admitted to ingesting Percocet pills (1 to 2/day) for approximately 3 weeks prior to this visit. He cited depression and recent stressors as the reason for his relapse. Further, the offender divulged that he has struggled with Percocet use on and off for years, and that remains his “biggest battle.” The offender indicated he has experienced withdraw symptoms in his attempt to cease use and also requested assistance to address his drug use. The offender was directed to coordinate for a drug and alcohol assessment and detoxification,” the document read.

Meek Mill was found guilty of violating his probation earlier this month and is currently seeking an appeal. He was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for the crime and has accused the judge of being unfit to serve over his case. Meek’s team claimed the judge had asked the rapper to remake the Boys to Men song “On Bended Knee” and threatened him further when he refused to do so.
