There's been a lot of talk and speculation about who will run against Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. With the real estate mogul and reality star surprisingly winning the 2016 election, other celebrities have floated the idea of throwing their hat in the ring, including an adult film star and a rapper.
Porn star Cherie DeVille and rapper Coolio think they're perfect to be the President and Vice President of the United States.
“If we are pulling away from electing only politicians for our higher offices, I think as a small celebrity in my own right I would be a good choice for the American people and for the world at large,” DeVille said.
Deville sat down with KESQ reporter Joe Galli to discuss her stance on important issues. She also touched on her diverse background, including being a physical therapist for 17 years.
“I have worked in hospitals, I have worked in nursing homes, and I have worked in outpatient clinics and there is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing a family that can not get the health care they want or need because of money,” DeVille said.
In addition to health care, Deville also wants change in education.
“Because college is so important to getting an entry-level job in the United States I think it should be like high school. I think we should provide at least some higher level educational institutions for free,” DeVille said.
Her running mate, Grammy award-winning rapper Coolio, is also an unconventional choice who wants to see major changes.
“Somebody got to do something man, somebody got to try. We need normal people, we need normal regular everyday people in office,” Coolio said.
Coolio has unorthodox ideas about politics some might call conspiracy theories.
“I believe there truly is a Deep State. And I think there is a Deep Deep State and nothing is what it seems,” Coolio said.
The 2020 election could prove to be very interesting.
