Oscar De La Hoya made it very clear how he felt about Conor McGregor during the megafight between him and Floyd "Money" Mayweather back on August 26. To the Golden Boy, McGregor (and Mayweather) disrespected the sport of boxing by creating such a spectacle. De La Hoya also contended that Floyd Mayweather completely toyed with Conor during the entire fight, effectively stretching it to the 10th round in hopes of cashing in on a bet Mayweather placed on himself prior to the bout. De La Hoya stated that McGregor stood no actual chance against Mayweather and he believes the same goes for McGregor were he to jump in the ring with De La Hoya himself. During a recent radio interview on Dash Radio, De La Hoya announced that he's coming out of retirement and that he's been secretly training in hopes to get The Notorious MMA in the ring. The Golden Boy pointed out that his speed and strength are at levels that far exceed those that he operated at during his career and said that he'd knock out McGregor in two rounds.
