Tamar Braxton has filed for divorce from husband Vincent Herbert. According to TMZ, Court documents were filed on Tuesday.
The two were married for 9 years and have a 4-year-old son named Logan Vincent. Herbert, a record executive, was introduced to Tamar by her sister Toni Braxton whom he had previously worked with. The two began dating back in 2003 and were married in 2008. Problems in their marriage first went public when police were called to their hotel room over a domestic dispute back in August of 2016.
Herbert and Braxton apparently got into an altercation where he bit her finger and drew blood. Just before the fight, there were rumors of Tamar cheating on him which she denied it at the time. One day after it Vincent and Tamar were seen at LAX holding hands portraying a reconciliation after the very public incident.
The two remained together for some time after but sources close to the couple told TMZ that things have been rocky since then. The outlet also confirmed that Tamar recently moved out of their family home. It’s unclear who will get custody of their son Logan. At this time, Tamar's court documents and further details remain concealed.
