Atlanta rapper No Plug was recently arrested for trafficking cocaine and gang-related charges and he is being held on $1,000 bond. The official charges, according to documents obtained by Say Cheese TV, include foreign warrant, possession and use of drug-related object, possession of controlled substance in schedule I or II intent to distribute, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of marijuana (less than 1 oz).
No Plug made headlines in mid-2016 after telling VladTV that he shot rapper Bankroll Fresh, who was also his childhood friend, in self-defense. He was later absolved of any criminal charges after the incident.
No Plug told VladTV, "He came out, playin' with the s***...he fired a shot, and s*** happened. We pulled off, he end up dead. That's as simple as s*** was. Like he pulled the gun, shot the motherf***er, couple shots got fired back, he got hit, I leave. Next thing you know, folks callin' me sayin' 'Fresh dead,' know what I'm sayin'. I called my lawyer...Gucci Mane's lawyer, gave him $10,000, go down to the homicide, tell Ms. Benton everything, and s***, everything was great. End of story."
