Cardi recently posted a video addressing the circumstances of her hotel exit in Albany, explaining that she was booted for weed, even though she denies partaking. She also accuses the city of Albany of being racist, saying she experienced that first hand. “Albany is known for being racist. Cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager’s door, knocking on my door, talking about us smoking weed and that we’ve gotta get kicked out.” Cardi continued, “If I was guilty of smoking weed, I wouldn’t even have made the show I did yesterday.”
In a tweet posted earlier today, she wrote, “So me & my team got kicked out of this hotel in Albany cause my floor smell like weed mine You I hate weed & nikkas do not smoke it.”
