Just a few days ago, actress Lupita Nyong'o spoke out against Harvey Weinstein via The New York Times. And now, Harvey Weinstein is denying those sexual assault allegations.

Nyong'o wrote for the Times:

"I met Harvey Weinstein in 2011 at an awards ceremony in Berlin, while I was still a student at the Yale School of Drama. An intermediary introduced him to me as “the most powerful producer in Hollywood.” As an aspiring actress, I was of course eager to meet people in the industry but cautious about strangers, and the intentions of men in general. So I tried to vet this famous producer by asking my dinner-table companions what they knew of him. A woman who was a producer herself cautiously advised me to “keep Harvey in your corner.” She said: “He is a good man to know in the business, but just be careful around him. He can be a bully.” And so I exchanged contacts with him in the hopes that I would be considered for one of his projects."

Nyong'o went on to explain how Weinstein invited her to his home in Westport, Conn. for a private screening. Fifteen minutes into the screening, Weinstein brought her up to his bedroom and told her he was going to give her a massage:

“I thought he was joking at first. He was not. For the first time since I met him, I felt unsafe. I panicked a little and thought quickly to offer to give him one instead: It would allow me to be in control physically, to know exactly where his hands were at all times.”

Not happy with massage, Weinstein started to take his pants off and Nyong'o decided to leave. Another time, Weinstein invited Nyong'o to a private room. He had also offered her a role in one of his films but she turned it down.

Weinstein released the following statement through his rep denying the claims:

"Mr. Weinstein has a different recollection of the events, but believes Lupita is a brilliant actress and a major force for the industry. Last year, she sent a personal invitation to Mr. Weinstein to see her in her Broadway show Eclipsed."

Many are wondering why Weinstein has taken out the time to deny these claims but not the others.
