Gabrielle Union has always never been one to mince words. She surely didn't as a guest on Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning." The actress is currently in New York City promoting her book, We're Going to Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Complicated and True.
During the interview, co-host Tracy G brought up an excerpt in the book where Union talks about sexual reciprocity. Union recalled mentoring a young lady who said she'd gone down on a guy, but he didn't do the same for her. "That sounds very one-sided. A lot of women do enjoy providing fellatio. For sure there needs to be some cunnilingus same time--or not--directly after or before. And then I said, 'Ask him to eat your a**.'"
After some laughs, co-host DB asks, "He eats her a**. Does that mean she has to eat the man's butt?" Union responded, "I mean, if we're talking about equal time here. Reciprocity." DB goes on to say that men don't really enjoy that. Union quickly stated that isn't the case and men just say so to front.
At that point, Sway asks, "How old were you when you first ate a butt?" After some more chuckles Union never really answers that particular question. Instead, she makes a different point, "It's all about equality. And a lot of times women feel like I'ma lose him if I don't do XYZ. And there's never any thought to the woman having any expectation of enjoying sex. I'm just a vessel for somebody else's sexual gratification. And we have to take that back. And we have to demand equality everywhere."
Of course, the comment raised eyebrows and had people questioning if she does it to her husband, Dwyane Wade. Social media is having a field day, and Union is trending because of her candor.
