Ball scored just 3 points on 1/6 shooting in addition to grabbing 9 rebounds and 4 assists; to the dismay of many Laker hopefuls who have endured horrible teams over the past few seasons. Adjusting to the physicality of the NBA is always a reality for college players transitioning, but All-Defense NBA defender Patrick Beverley made it clear that Lonzo will have to hit the weight room hard.

Six-time NBA champion Scotty Pippen was asked about Lonzo’s debut and the former Chicago legend had a lot to say. He believes that Lonzo’s father, LaVar, Has added unnecessary pressure to Lonzo by proclaiming him to be the best player. As a result, Pippen believes Patrick Beverly is just the first of many point guards who will be trying to prove LaVar wrong.
