Metro Boomin is one of this generation's most sought-after producers. His famous tagline featuring Future stating "if Young Metro don't trust you, I'm gon' shoot you" almost guarantees a banger will follow. That phrase, minus the shooting part, might be apropos for Metro Boomin's gripe with Atlantic Records/APG and specifically executive Mike Caran.
Metro took to Twitter to lay out some information to any up and coming producers out there to beware of Mike Caran and APG. He stated plainly, "PSA to producers everywhere, don't let @AtlanticRecords steal your soul." Metro followed this up with a series of tweets clarifying that the didn't want to attack Atlantic as a whole but Caran and Artist Partner Group in particular. He spoke of how Caran and APG take advantage of artists and producers in demeaning ways. Mike Will Made-It and London On Da Track both chimed in and reiterated Metro's sentiment.
