Just one day after a joint Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti tour was announced, Uzi informed fans Thursday morning that it's no longer happening. Uzi tweeted out that he's skipping the tour because he needs to "focus." It's unclear what he plans to focus on, but it could be his previously announced rock album.

Following the No. 1 success of Luv Is Rage 2 and his hit single "XO Tour Llif3," Uzi is apparently planning to expand his punk aesthetic into a full-blown rock album with Marilyn Manson, Tyler Bates, and more. In an interview with Zane Lowe in August, Uzi suggested the project may end up being heavily influenced by Paramore's Hayley Williams. "She's, like, the best," Uzi said. "It's hard to top that. She's, like, the best, just of my generation. There's nobody, bro."

It also appears that Uzi is planning a collaborative project with what would've been his touring partner, Carti. Playboi teased the possibility in a Snapchat post showing punk icons Captain Sensible and Dave Vanian from the U.K. band The Damned. Carti's caption includes the word "tape" and numbers referencing Uzi's 1600 Philly block and Carti's 2900 Atlanta block.

Carti is currently on ASAP Mob's Too Cozy Tour with ASAP Rocky, ASAP Twelvyy, ASAP Nast, ASAP Ant, and Key!
