Marco Rubio recently told TMZ Sports that he has no problem with O.J. Simpson moving back to his home state of Florida, but warned the former football star that he might not be received with open arms. “I guess no one is going to hurt him. He has a right to live wherever he wants,” said Rubio. “But I don’t think he has a lot of fans left down there.”

Rubio ended off the interview by cheering “Go Dolphins.” O.J. Simpson was released from prison at the beginning of this month after serving a 9-year sentence for armed robbery. He is now on parole and could end up returning to Florida where two of his children currently reside. Simpson previously said in a parole hearing that he intends on moving back there.

He first moved to Florida from California back in 1999, just four years after he was acquitted in the infamous murder case that involved the killing of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. He lived there at the time of his armed robbery trial which was held in Nevada. Even though he wants to make a return, the house he owned was foreclosed on back in 2013, so he’ll definitely need to do some house shopping, according to the Miami Herald.
