Floyd Mayweather Jr. is back in the gym! Perhaps the boxing champion has plans to return to the ring for fight number 51.

Earlier this week, UFC president Dana White's stopped by the Pardon My Take podcast. White was asked whether the public will get to see another Mayweather vs. McGregor fight, and she thinks it's pretty unlikely.

"I never say never, but I doubt it," White responded. But that was prior to Mayweather lighting social media up by posting a pair of workout videos on his Instagram page the following day. The posts, which have no captions, and were closed to comments, show Mayweather pounding away at a heavy punching bag as members of The Money Team watch.

Mayweather simply could have been doing what he loves, since he's considered a "gym rat." He's stated on numerous occasions that the showdown this past August would be his last, and has absolutely ruled out the possibility of returning to fight anybody but McGregor. But he's also admitted that he'd entertain talks for fights that could offer him a nine-digit payday.

Unlike with the Pacquiao fight that didn't meet the action-filled expectations of fans, Mayweather vs. McGregor well-exceeded expectations. Thus, the demand for a rematch would be there.

Will Floyd Mayweather return to the ring?
