Surveillance footage taken from the lobby of the building housing Di SnapBack men's clothing shop in Los Angeles' fashion district, shows the moment a man makes his exit to the street after breaking into the store's fashion room. The video, which has since been reported on by local news outlets, is gruesome to watch, as it shows him hopping past the doorman/security guard with one foot dangling off of his shin.

An investigation into the incident reveals that the unidentified man was so persistent in breaking into Di SnapBack owner Victor Perez's establishment, that he attempted to descend upon its showroom by climbing down to the back window from the building's roof. To the man's misfortune, he'd lose his footing and plunge some stories to his destination. But rather than attempt to signal for help, he broke the store's window and proceeded to complete the job. Moments later he is seen limping out from an elevator with a $35 cap that he took from Perez's shop.

In order to avoid capture, Perez couldn't have gone through the front door to leave the premises at that point. Investigators conclude that he exited back through the window from which he came and reentered the building through a bathroom window. Upon leaving the bathroom, he is seen waving at a security camera. Moments later he was gone.
