A suspect, identified as 37-year-old Radee Prince, reportedly gathered fellow employees at Advanced Granite Solutions in Edgewood, Maryland for a meeting and then began firing on them just before 9 am on Wednesday morning. He shot five people; three died and two were taken to a nearby trauma hospital where they are listed in critical condition.

A second shooting committed by Prince took place at the 28th Street Auto Sales and Service shop in Wilmington, Delaware. The police chief wouldn't elaborate on the history of the victim and Prince, but he did say, "This individual knew the people he wanted to shoot," and they reportedly had "beef." The victim was shot in the vicinity of his head and once in the body but was expected to survive.

Prince is still on the run and is considered by Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler to be "armed and dangerous." Police chased him briefly after he left the used car lot, but they lost him and haven't seen or heard from him since, the chief said. He was last seen driving a black 2008 Chevy Acadia.

Prince has an extensive criminal record; he has been arrested 42 times in Delaware including 15 felony convictions. He pled guilty to 15 counts of burglary in 2003 and was reportedly sentenced to serve 25 years suspended after two years, but in December 2004, Superior Court modified Prince's sentence, reducing his prison term from two years to one year. In 2015, he was charged with several handgun-related violations, but those were later dropped. Court records also showed that he was required to undergo drug and alcoholism counseling. Prince was previously fired earlier this year after allegedly punching another employee.
