Donald Trump's presidency and the coverage of it continues to get more bizarre. This time a theory spread that First Lady Melania Trump has been using a body double for public appearances.
Twitter user Joe Vargas, the owner of Cloud N9ne Syrup, posted a video of Trump speaking to the press with what appears to be his wife Melania standing beside him. Vargas, however, said it's not her.
"To think they would go this far & try & make us think its her on TV is mind blowing. Makes me wonder what else is a lie," Vargas tweeted.
Vargas said he initially did not notice but thought it strange when Trump said, "my wife Melania, she's right here." Vargas posted a google search pic of Melania next to the screenshot from the video and insisted it's not the same person. The Internet ran with the theory and soon it became a viral story.
The theory is the latest surrounding the First Lady. The Internet has previously dissected videos and suggested Melania is being abused and desperately wants to leave Donald.
Complex did some digging and found a high-resolution video from the same presser. The high-res video indicates it is indeed Melania and not a body-double.
