Colorado prosecutors are investigating the deaths of two young girls and suspect that some kind of voodoo ritual may have been involved in their killing. The girls' bodies, who are said to be 7 and 10-years-old, were discovered on a vacant property in the Norwood section and were decomposing in the backseat of a car, according to a report from PEOPLE.

The mother of the girls, Florida resident Nashika Bramble, 36, and Madana Ceus, 37, were charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of child abuse resulting in death. Three other suspects including Ashford Nathaniel Archer, 50, Ida Eden, 53, and 23-year-old Frederick Blair of Norwood, Colorado were also arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder. Ceus and Archer both hail from Haiti while Eden is from Jamaica.

A source revealed to PEOPLE that Archer, Ceus, Bramble, and Eden are part of a traveling healing ministry that promotes end-time prophecies. “It was an apocalyptic kind of thing,” said the source to PEOPLE. “They are guided by their dreams. They will stay in some place until they have a dream and then they go someplace else. They think they can heal people.” The source also claimed that Ceus is the leader of the group.

They had reportedly been living in cars and makeshift huts on Blair’s property since May. The group had originally been located in Grand Junction, Co and befriended Blair once they arrived in Norwood. Blair wanted to “help” them out, according to the source. The girls' exact cause of death has yet to be determined. Zeus is being held without bond in San Miguel County Jail and Bramble is in custody on a $125,000 bond. Archer and Blair were charged with two counts of child abuse resulting in death and one count as an accessory to a crime. Eden faces two counts of child abuse resulting in death and is being held on $125,000 bond along with Blair. Archer is being held on a $250,000 bond.
