It seems as if Donald Trump is continuing to allegedly make enemies within his own administration, as news surfaced saying he went as far as mocking his own vice president. According to a report, Trump allegedly mocked Mike Pence’s views on Christianity.

In the story ran by The New Yorker, it was pointed out by a Trump staffer that the President would ask the question “Did Mike make you pray?” to people who just met with the VP. While meeting with legal scholar, Trump cracked jokes about Mike Pence’s stance on gay rights and abortion. The scholar they were meeting with said that states would still legalize abortion even if the Supreme Court were to overturn the groundbreaking Roe v. Wade decision. Trump allegedly responded to that statement by telling Mike Pence ““You see? You’ve wasted all this time and energy on it, and it’s not going to end abortion anyway.” The report noted that the conversation shifted to gay rights, which led Trump to point at Pence and say “Don’t ask that guy — he wants to hang them all!” Previously, Pence supported a “religious freedom” bill in 2015 that was set to legalize discrimination against the LGBT community. The bill was revised after much protest and boycotts from businesses.

The White House has not responded to the report revealed by the New Yorker.
